San Juan Outfitters - Roche Harbor Adventure Center

San Juan Outfitter’s main facility is located at Roche Harbor San Juan Island, also known as the Marine Adventure Center (MAC). We are the exclusive operator for whale watch and kayak tours, as well as a variety of rental activities.

Our convenient finger docks and exclusive facility allows our guests to safely and conveniently enter and exit our sea kayaks and rental boats. This also means more of you tour time is spent on the water, not in transit or loading and unloading kayak trailers at a public launch with 80 or more paddlers.

Located at the Northwest tip of San Juan Island just 10 miles from Friday Harbor, Roche Harbor is the considered the best launching area for both sea kayaking and whale watching in the Northwest. From Roche Harbor, our guests can access waters where whales and wildlife abound—Haro Strait and the Strait of Juan de Fuca where Killer Whales are most frequently seen.
