Located on the Swinomish Channel in the Skagit River delta, La Conner is part seaport, part farm town. Surrounded by rich agricultural land, the town is known for local Daffodil and Tulip festivals in the spring, but also boasts a busy marina.

La Conner Activities

Artists were drawn to the La Conner in the 1940s, and a rich tradition of visual arts has remained a part of the community’s fabric. Galleries and museums are abundant here, including the Museum of Northwest Art, the Skagit County Historical Museum and the La Conner Quilt & Textile Museum.

A favorite summertime draw to La Conner is the annual Classic Boat & Car Show in August. It’s also a great time of year to enjoy outdoor dining at one of the many restaurants along the channel.

To try your hand at some casino gaming, the Swinomish Casino and Lodge is located about 8 miles north of La Conner, on your way to Anacortes.
