Colorful Killer Whales in the Strait of Georgia

Olivia | July 29th, 2019 | M/V Sea Hawk | 2:00pm

Captain Erick and I started off our trip with the best group we could have asked for on board. We had 7 passengers who were incredibly humble and excited to be on the water with this gorgeous sunny day. If she says it was in her top 5, you know it was good! We headed out of Roche Harbor through John’s Pass and straight up to Boundary Pass. From there, we caught our first glance at some Killer Whales where we waited for them to turn around East Point...

Today was a great day out on the water! The sun finally shone brightly in the sky after many days of cloudy and smoky haze. We left out of Roche Harbor as Captain Gabe and I took to the sea to find our whales. We headed south out of Mosquito Pass and down the south side of San Juan Island through the Haro Strait.

As we were searching for wildlife, we suddenly saw a blow off in the distance! We...
